Uganda with a lot of primates
High up in the Virunga Mountains in south western Uganda its still possible to get to know the Mountain Gorillas. High up at an altitude of arounds 2.400m (aprox 7.000ft) they live peacefully in family groups eating leaves.
Close by in the Virunga Mountains livs also the very rare Golden Monkey
In the forest of Kibbale you can get near to our closest relative the chimpanzee. Both tree- and ground-living and with a wide food source of meat and vegetables.
Sighted the Red Colobus Monkeys and Red Tailed Monkeys in Bigodi Swamp.
